Snow adventure

Unusual early blog entry but yesterday had been so funny I have to write it down for you.

Yesterday after our first shift we asked for a short lift ride and it hadn't been a problem. Up at the end of lift # 3 Zwerg asked us something in Japanese I didn't understand, everytime I didn't understand him because he's mumbling everytime in his beard.
Back down our boss asked us if we would like to get up with lift #1, lift #1 is getting higher than lift #3 and you have a wonderful view down the lake. Of course we said yes and off we go to a higher level of the mountain- really wonderful. Later came the next surprise our boss said at 12.30h after our lunch (we splitted it yesterday because I wanted to look at 15h in the internet about our D'espairs Ray tickets), until 15h we have had free time and can go on the very top of the mountain by lift. Of course we two had been very happy and started again with #1 and then with the next lift he told us very high and with no security barrier in front of us. Especially for me very hard at the beginning- I'm a little bit sick of heights and no barrier in front of me.... but after a while it had been ok.

So we reached the next level, now we should go to lift #4 but it had been down the ski-piste- how to get down the mountain a bit....?
Well before we had reached a decision the people from the patrol house invited us in- very happily grinning and asking us a lot- we the idols of lift #3 ^^.... they took pictures and again very funny to see men among men in the wildernis... yes they have a selfmade barbecue plate on their heater and were grilling mushrooms and steaks there.
After a while we said goodbye and asked them for two waste bag- the blue ones we have in Germany too, a little bit smaller- half the lenght to get down the mountain by them to lift #4. They were very astonished but they gave us two and off we go on our blue plastic bag down the piste. Of course we were landing in the snow very often- you can imagine but in the end with a little cross country walk through a small wood we reached lift #4 but they were saying we aren't allowed to use it, the patrol had phoned us to not let us ride the lift because it is too dangerous.

Well we were standing there and now? We can't get back to lift #6 up the mountain and the next lift down is a little bit down the mountain and it is a red piste. Ok we decided to go down first through another wood and then on our plastic bags down the red ski piste with many stops ^^. Had been really funny but I turned really wet because I didn't have a ski pants.
Half the way we met a school class and a ski teacher who looked at us with BIG eyes like what are they doing? Then they laughed with us ^^.

In the end we went on our plastic bags down until lift #1- ok in the end it had turned bit difficult because we had reached the green piste and it hadn't been good to use with plastic bags but after a while we could walk and were immidiately invited to the lift shack of lift # 6, who were bit shocked how we went down the mountain.

Well they ave new gossip ^^. Very funny had been our meeting with the guys from Snow Park, we laughed a lot- all of us.

Back we were really tired and went to the dormitory to change clothes and then back to the lift.
Really great day and it had been good for us, we two felt a little bit more free and ourselves again. We laughed a lot.

Wonderful day and in the end even better, we got all our D'espairs Ray tickets..... yeah Hizumi be aware ^^ I'm coming again ;))) :D
I'm going to Saitama, Yokohama, Kobe, Kyoto and Shinkiba ^^- April and May.

Snow White and Rose Red and the seven dwarfs

Hi there!

Again it is Monday and time for the internet. We just received our payment paper for the Dir en grey tickets in April, I am so happy..... yeah we go shopping again later.... I always have to think about Jürgen von der Lippen and his 'Supermarkt' so funny, you should look it up at Youtube. 'Man kann sich gar nicht vorstellen was für eine Quelle des Frohsinns so ein Supermarkt sein kann '.....

Yeah now we can imagine and today we have to go to Lawson Convience Store for amazon.jp and Dir en grey too and maybe to the 100Yen Store and Home market too. We want to buy a scale too for the one we have at the common bath room isn't working properly. Yes I am making a diet at the moment, again with Almased and I think I have lost much of weight. We didn't have one all this time in Japan, we only measured me at well I lost 25cm on my femoral, almost 10cm at the waist, 10cm hips and 2cm chest until mid of November. Great. Yes I really hope to have my old weight in April and then I can start again to loose the rest too. ^^

At the moment work is okay, but we had to write Koizumi san again because they have made a mistake with our first payment. We get more money for overtime and national holidays but we didn't as well as the break isn't paid. We are thinking our contract hasn't reached Inawashiro. Well guess Koizumi san will answer soon.

I can quote Lion King and Scar ' I am surrounded by idiots.....'. Yesterday we have seen the first part of 'Merlin', you know the movie from I think RTL, years ago with Sam Neil. And King Vortigern were saying in one scene 'Warum bin ich von unfähigen Idioten umgeben....' (Why am I surrounded by incompetent idiots?)- we were laughing so much, it describes exactly our feelings.
I really like this movie and Merlins costume... wonderful. Guess I will make it one day- I have started years ago, but unfortunately the second box of wax ruined my fake leather, the first box had been wonderful- so never trust people at shops- always testing everything. But I still have the huge amounts of cock feathers in black-green.

OK, what happened... every day we have lots of time to watch men among men at our small lift shack- you can't imagine.... it's like watching the seven dwarfs from Snow White.... really. We have given them names, because we didn't know their names like 'Brusthaar' one guy who has chest hairs, boss or Chef ( the only one of whom we know the name Watanabe, Hiromichi ^^), Zwerg, because he is really tiny...... and Helium, because he has a very high voice like if he has taken Helium, and Schlafmütze (Sleepy) because he always is sleeping in breaks.

Yes at the moment it really is like Schneeweißchen und Rosenrot & 7 Zwerge. ^^
After the three months we can write a book about men... they are always eating sweets and they didn't open the bags on the tops like common, they cut a window in the middle with a cutter knife for example or putting a tape on squeezed our pimple, because it is sooooooo painful and heay bleeding.....
and they aren't doing anything, most of them, the one's inside the shack are responsible to look at the guests who are mounting the lift chairs, to check if everything is ok and they didn't fall out or loose things- if so they have to stop the lift or put it to slow mode.

Yesterday we had so many accidents because they didn't look and Chef wasn't there..... yeah no wonder they are thinking we two are soooooo wow and great. The Idols of Lift three.....

But it is a good point, otherwise we didn't have something to complain in our breaks from outside watch, what should we do if we didn't have something to complain to talk about while work- would be totally boring........

Yesterday we were invited to a party... yes a party which in the end wasn't anything else than go for dinner in a restaurant... eh yes.... so wonderful things and I can't eat- horrible, torture, (I am in the second week of Almased drinks) and Denise had a painful stomach, luckily we could go home after 20minutes. Any other time it would be great, but not if we expect a party with the young men here and girls which we can leave anytime. Problem was that we can't talk with the people- it is ok for me if it is a small round of 5-10people, but not more and the people we could have talked with were sitting far away.
Well Kobayashi san tried his best to entertain us, he is really nice, not like the resort boss we call Mr. English, because he speaks a little bit of English, guess his name is Nakazawa san. We don't know for sure. The guy who is against foreigners you know.

They were asking if Denise is a model in Germany ^^ and Kobayashi san has sung a Karaoke song for us to cheer us up. And Yoshida san is always nice and tried to talk with us. The nice guys from Snow Style Park weren't were as well as the nice guys and ladies from the Snow School. :(
Well the information girl are nice too, expect 'Giftzwerg' the girl who drove us to the supermarket to buy shoes we wouldn't have done, since this day she hates us and tried to intrigate without success. Very funny, every mealtime she wanted to keep the lady from the Snow School from us, but she always sat herself opposite to us and talk a little bit with us- she can speak a little bit English and wanted to learn more. And her Japanese is clear, so I can understand some things too.

Funny thing with me, one of the information ladies stared at me, like if she have never seen a woman with my cup size- she looked at me in my black satin blouse, staring and saying- WOOOOOOOOW.......
ehhhm yes......... Denise laughed a lot about it later when I were saying everyday I passed her during my announcement times... yes Japanese............ They were amazed here about our style and Make-up- God knows why.... but I have a feeling of why so many squeeking girls are at the concerts on the countryside, they didn't have attractive men here and have never seen such things before.....

Home again we went for a walk- yes we found a small path leading to a defector (Kläranlage)- great I know.... it takes about 15min one way, so we can walk 30min if the streets aren't full of ice. At the moment it is really warm so the streets are free of ice and snow. It have to snow soon, it isn't much left after the last days.

On Wednesday we got to know if the D'espairs Ray tickets are ours as well. Keep your fingers crossed.
Hard to imagine that we are here almost a month- on wednesday 4 weeks.

Lost in the snow

Now again another report from Inawashiro. Yes the last days had been rather busy and exhausting, really- believe me. Well one thing is sure we never met some people who were as stupid as here at the office, of course not all, but some are.

You know we have written two emails to Koizumi san in Tokyo and he had been very anxious about us. Well on Thursday we wanted to ask our manager here what we have done wrong, well he said –ehhh, ask Kobayashi san. Well we wanted but he said- tomorrow Koizumi san will arrive and we talk then.

Ok, yes you have a feeling of how it goes here. We waited and on Thursday evening Koizumi san phoned me, very nice of him and on Friday he arrived and we talked. Ok first he brought me a big warm jacket for skiing- Denise is really jealous because it is a ‘Dickies’ jacket in black- not that I care which label it is, but she really wanted to have one. ^^

But it is too big, but better to big than too small- but believe me I look like Free Willy in it, awful for it is US-3L size and I would say Denise would fit in together with me ^^. In the afternoon he bought shoes- I felt so ashamed of it, I really didn’t like it if people were that generous to me, but it had been really nice of course.

Ok now what really happened is that the only problem that there is, is just that the people in the office don’t like us and only the manager is the problem and he influenced the others- of course there are still some who are really friendly and truthworthy.

He also said that all the problems had their origin in him, he only is too blame. No one of the people we worked with had something bad about us to say, they all like us and we are ok and learn quickly. Nevertheless I should work together with Denise at the lift- no problem about that- they are really nice and liked the imagination of us two working with them. The lift boss said that he wanted us to be the stars of Inawashiro Ski Resort *laugh*, my god… but the customers like us very much and the thought of two foreign girls greeting them in Japanese- yes the Japanese are really special in this. ;)

Koizumi san had told me really interesting things for example that the people in the office think that we log ourself in for work when we are in the internet and all- just because the second week I worked some hours here at the office for the translations- I needed a dictionary and so I worked here with wadoku.de to translate the announcements they have asked me to translate. You can’t imagine…

Yes in the evening we went to a nice restaurant with Koizumi san, Yoshida san ( from Rental store) and Watanabe san, the boss of the lift with whom Denise had worked together the last weeks. Very funny evening, yes Koizumi san said that between the people from Tokyo and other big cities and the landscape people are a border bigger than between Japanese people and foreign people. And he is right and he is really impressed that we two are still here and really thankful.

A really funny evening with lots of talks and Yoshida san is a sad that I am no longer working with him.

Of course I am still doing the announcement and if there are problems at restaurant, rental or information I will work there- they will call the lift then if they are very busy or foreigners are coming.

I now have worked two days at the lift, we have changed our free day to Monday, it’s nicer tis way, and it is very nice, you have more to do and contact to the guests and all- I like it. Of course it is very nice to work together with Denise. ;) And she also is happy about it for now we got together with me a really handsome guy. On Saturday he arrived for the first time at this lift- the rest are old men. And Watanabe san said that he will be my teacher, Koizumi san smiled to me and said what a nice teacher for you…..

I must admit I really have the feeling they wanted to bring us on the men- especially me, must be my age ;). And he really is handsome *gggg*, but more Denise type than mine, like she would say he is masculine-macho type and not type cute ^^ from looks.

I think now it will be all fine and the manager is happy that no foreigners are working inside the center house- all rassists…..

Of course there is a lot of talk here about us behind our backs. Denise and me had known it before. Very funny on Thursday evening we listened to ‘Die Ärzte’s song ‘Lass die Leute reden’ and on Friday Koizumi san told me well they are talking behind our backs but we should pretend of not considering it, that will be the best and for them it will be the thing they wouldn’t like if we seemed to be impressed by talking behind our backs. We always did here ^^, otherwise you can’t survive.

That’s the short story of what happened the last days. On the good side is that we have a Lawson not so far away, the nice office lady Kaori had driven us there on Saturday for paying amazon and the Snow Style park people, five nice guys and a nice lady also named Kaori, and the guys are nice ^^ and they really like us ;) and one is named Daisuke like Die, one is named Shinya and one Tooru like Kyo (he too is masculine macho type look ^^ looks bit like Kaoru of Dir en grey ^^ ) – so funny, we also have a femine version of Kaoru with them, Kaori, the only one missing is Toshimasa ;) and Kaoru knows Dir en grey ;), she asked us one morning if we like them. As soon as we have the feeling of beeing a little bit home here- I guess early February we will invite them for a room party ^^, they speak a little bit English.

Very nice as well is one of the Snowboard teachers, we always ate breakfast together, she is very nice too.

The weather is bit strange, on Friday it snowed the whole day and night so we had 40cm new snow on Saturday morning and wonderful sunshine- lots of people came and yesterday we had 11° plus and the snow started to melt. Today we had in the morning melting and now snowstorm.

In 20minutes the pre-sale for D’espairs Ray will start- I really hope we got tickets again, cross your fingers.

Fukushima

Kurze Meldung aus Fukushima Präfektur. Ist nicht besonders toll hier, momentan nur Stress wegen allem Möglichen, die sind echt unfähig hier die Leute. Besonders schwierig ist natürlich auch die Verständigung. Ansonsten sind das hier lauter Landeier, die von nichts eine Ahnung haben- schrecklich. Unser Chef in Tokyo ist auch ständig frustriert deswegen, er kann ja schlecht immer hier sein. Im März findet hier übrigens ein internationales Event statt- Freestyle Championship Inawashiro- vielleicht kommt ja was zu im Fernsehen, wo man dann sieht wie das hier aussieht. Aber unser Zimmer ist wundervoll, wir haben eine Badewanne, das ist herrlich und auch sonst ist es ein sehr schönes Zimmer. Essen ist furchtbar und alle starren uns in einer Tour an. Komm mir echt vor wie ein exotisches Tier im Käfig. Schrecklich- da könnte ich Elisabeth zitieren- ich will nicht vom Saum bis zum Kragen von Blicken betastet sein... Dazu kommen wir ja hier auch nicht weg ohne Auto, d.h. für jede Kleinigkeit müssen wir im Büro nach einem Fahrer und Auto fragen. Sehr nervig. Aber wir sind ja rebellisch und deswegen eingestellt *lach*- ja wir wurden eingestellt weil wir Nein sagen und nicht japanisch denken ;). Sehr witzig, irgendwie geht die Zeit schon vorüber und wenn erstmal die ewigen Kämpfe aufhören wird das auch angenehmer. Zu tun ist nichts hier nichts, wir sitzen bei der Arbeit stundenlang rum und machen nichts- also ich lerne Vokabeln ^^. Aber nächsten Monat sollen mehr Ausländer kommen und wir haben was zu tun. Ich sehne mich nach Tokyo- ich wäre ja schon happy wenn wir in der 'Stadt' unten wohnen würden, wo man spazieren gehen kann und selber zum Supermarkt. Dafür kommen fantastische Tourdaten raus von Despa und Dir en grey, mal sehen was die Fanclubauslosung sagt da, hoffe klappt alles, wäre fantastisch, zu meinem Geburtstag D'espairs Ray live und in Kyoto sein. Landschaftlich ist es sehr schön hier und Denise hat hier auch schon Snowboard ausprobiert *bgggg*......
