We have some new stuff online- concert report, CD review and a new gallery. Please leave your comment ;) and who is able to do, please make some PR for 'The Underneath' ;).
Again... had been just bit strange, so I wanted to tell you. As you know Denise and me are often walking in the middle of the night. Yesterday we walked to Kamata-station, around 10km and later our usualway to Oimachi-Station, around 5km. We started around half past midnight (after Mr. and Mrs. Smith) and in the first minute e found a mobile phone- a rather expensive one, white. Well we took it and on our way back we wanted to give it to our Koban station (we always pass them on the way back). So we did, around 1,40 a.m. we two said hello to the nice officers and wanted to give them the mobile phone- well wanted is the right word. All three guys were standing around us looking very disorientated like oh ehm what shall we do now?
Ok I said again- we found this mobile phone on our way near Omori station. ~SILENCE~ staring guys Giving them the phone ~MORE SILENCE~ two chairs were brought to us #1 began to speak, - Do you know whose mobile phone it is?
Denise and me looking at each other- he didn't asked this thing did he? Me saying- ehhh no.
#2- ehh ok. ~SILENCE third part~ giving us the phone back, then taking it again.
Me smiling, waiting for something like ok, you can go. Nothing # 3 arrived with a paper and wanted us to fill it out. #1 and # 2 saying To you want a thank you of the owner.
me- oh no, it is ok.
#1 so you want one.
Me eyesrolling in my mind. - Nooo.
~SILENCE Part 4~
#2 eto...... ehhh..... looking at the phone like it is a poisonous snake. At last saying - ok you can go.
Yes now I can understand why Japanese people usually didn't bring lost items to the police. Really it looked like only idiots are working at Koban stations, especially at night. How can anyone ask, do you know to whom this item belongs if you gave it to the police as a lost item????? AHHHHHHHH- I can again sayI'm surrounded by idiots... can't I?
Well again some curious and strange things about Japan am I right? *laughing* Well I end with the all time favourite German song in Japan- which I think no one here truly understands ^^- language barrier.
Well I wanted to write this ages ago, but it weren't possible, so please forgive me and hope you enjoy my last report about Inawashiro although it is a little time ago.
As you know the event had been more a desaster than everything at our Ski Resort, no people came to watch it, but 5000 went to the other two resorts in theneighbourhood where the rest of the event had take place. I had to work at a restaurant, which truly had been a nightmare, I have never seen such a ugly place, but I had some fun thanks to a lady employed by F.I.S. who could speak English- we laughed a lot. Well we hadn't much to do, for no foreigner were coming we could assist so we were talking all the hours and tried to make some fun. In that restaurant they had a Mega Katsu Curry dish, two slices of 'Schnitzel' with rice and curry sauce and I were bored so I tried my best to make the customer buy it for it had been the most expensive one- well and it worked. Almost all men were buying it just because I said a real man eat Mega Katsu Curry, it's for real manpower- you should have seen them after they ate it like- yeah I am a REAL MAAAAAAAAAAAN.....
Soo funny, especially the army guys, there were some army guys to help with the building of the ski ground and all, around 15 men and all bought Mega Katsu Curry ^^ after I told them to do- I should make a good sales lady for men ^^. Yeah had been a great time at lift #5, my favourite guy, Daisuke and the other nice guys from Snow Style Park worked above #5 lift and they usually took it all the time, so we met lots of time. Very funny time to talk with them a bit- Daisuke and Tooru liked my newly dyed hair- so funny, Tooru came with a snow shovel, a really big one- stopped waiting for the lift, leaning manly (in his view) on it, grinning at me saying that I had nice red hair ^^. Well I would have prefered it from Daisuke ^^- he lives at Chiba..... guess time to visit Masato more often at his place when he is back in Tokyo- at the moment he is in Osaka- holidays. Maybe I met Daisuke there ;). Also I met the German guys, very nice and all were wondering why we were hidden at lift #5. Ok the monday of the event had been the only busy day with foreign guests- all complaining about the menu- no noddles, no vegetarian menu for the athlets and especially no tea- only coffee- a nightmare and again they weren't flexible to provide tea and noodles. I talked with another F.I.S. lady, the first had been taken away by asshole Mr. English on sunday, so that I don't have a funny time with her again, but Mr. Kobayashi send another lady up to assist me on Monday. She told me, that last year in spring the F.I.S. company had visited our resort to talk about everything and said that the food isn't suitable for athlets, they had to change it, but they didn't- so of course all were very upset. You should have seen the Russian guys....
Everyone know that athlets need to eat a special menu especially before a competition. Our last week hadn't been so exciting, on wednesday we went down again to # 3 lift, well cared by lift mama and the boss of #5 who had been really sad about us leaving like the cute guys of Snow Style Park. I finally weren't afraid anymore to use the big common ladies bath at our dormitory with a huge tub- like a small swimming pool 3mx3m I would say and wonderfully hot- too hot for Denise, but right for me ;).
Well on our last Friday we hadn't anything to do, so our #3 boss said we should try some new snow equipment like a bike or a kind of surfboard to use on the snow- had been great. In the afternoon we wanted to do it again, but Yuuta from Snow Style Park had taken the surfboard already- so we tried the two person sledge. We have taken the lift# 3 up and funny Denise said ok I guess we will take all the orange poles, which were marking the now public waves of the Championship event. Ok, we mounted it and off we go after a push of the lift# 3 staff up house and I mean off- we were on highspeed and Denise couldn't see anything- it had been like, C: Denise now left, left, the lift pillar..... oh my god we will die.... ahhhhh..... left.....left.... D: I can't see anything.......me trying to stir somehow...... ahhhhh the snow hill left of the event... RIGHT...... the other RIIIIIIIIIIGHT AHHHHH D: I can't see anything.... (due to into her face squirting snow and no glasses) me ahhhhhhh left, left....... the orange pooooooooooo......le.... crashing the orange pole in highspeed, flying over the snow waves of the event, fly- down- fly- down- fly.... this is great, ahhhhhhh oh my god........... D: BRAKE..... BRAKE.... AHHHHH.... both trying to brake...downhill, still highspeed........ we will diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeee..... STOP..... wow this had been great- do it again.........
And our Mr. Watanabe, Lift Boss, worried to death, the upper staff had called him- now they are on the way down.... Watanabe san looking out of the window- no they are here already in ..... oh my GOOOOOOD HIIIIIGHSPEEEEEEEEED- girls brake, brake..... the fence....... AHHHHHH, sigh, they stopped.
Well we really must come down in highspeed, squirting snow in clouds arounds us, hiding us from view- screaming and trying to brake............. well we did it two more times- really wonderful- the second time with glasses and we saw from the lift how far we had thrown away the orange pole we have crashed with- well we had overrun it, for it didn't stop us. Unfortunately I had no ski clothes, well the ugly jacket but no pants...... ok we came down soaking wet with dripping socks, wet hair and all and my right leg without a big part of skin.
First I didn't think it s bad but second day I went to the Ski Resort nurse and got bandages and all, had been horrible, I almost cried for pain when she were cleaning it with Iod. Ok it didn't get better so on Monday we went to the doctor, who said the nurse had done it all wrong and the worst nightmare of medicine history in my past began. They had to clean it to take all the cream away and all, well they gave me a narcotic spray on it but started right away to clean it with oh what was the name, I don't know- but I almost fainted and cried out loud for pain- I squeezed Denise's hand so hard she can't feel it anymore and were crying-I never cried before at a doctors place. You have to imagine a 10cm x10cm space of leg burnt so much that so skin had been left, surrounded by 2-3cm surroundings filled with small burn blisters and someone touching it. Well I got antibiotic bandages and all and now I have many doctor visits behind me, almost finished now, didn't look anymore like raw meat, more like a 3/4 fried hamburger at the moment, so one quarter raw meat and all the blisters are gone and have left blue skin. It is a burning, a ice burning and all are wondering how this can happen during a sledge ride- well they didn't saw our speed ;). So I almost spend half of next months rent for doctor, but I will get it back from my insurance and our doctor here is one floor under us and at last it is a modern surgery like in Germany and no 50ies surgery like in Inawashiro (and costs the same fee) but both doctors can speak English.
Well we left last week early morning with lots of luggage again but we managed to bring it all down in one turn from Shinjuku. Denise left to Sakura House office to get our key and me to the doctor. In the evening our parcels arrived and my CD Japan 'Redeemer' order. Ok about Tokyo I will report in my next blog. But you can all write me now emails and I can answer, I have started to write to you, but I am still at the start of it, so please be patient.
How are you? So sorry about not writing you yet, well we have been really busy. On wednesday we had the D'espairs Ray day with the signing in the evening, very nice and Denise went to our hair cutter and got a new haircut.
Thursday we met Koizumi san and I went to my old work, looks not so good, but if he can't find anyone else for the new job I can work there, he will call me end of this month. Friday we went to Hello Work office, also bad, but yesterday we had an interview for bed making and room cleaning in a hotel at Ikebukuro, he will call us end of this week. It isn't enough for Denise but for me when I get my study credit from April onwards again. Denise will have an interview at a German restaurant coming week. Guess all will be fine in some time, although at the moment of course we are little anxious, who wouldn't. Inawashiro had been very bad but we managed it last time and so will manage it this time too.
Yesterday we were invited to the Underneath One man live at Shibuya, so wonderful, I made some pictures and will write an report about it for our homepage this week too. The band had been very nice after the show, when we could met them, especially Taka and Ryo. The music had been gorgeous, the new album will be a thunderstorm, they said to us in the interview that they wanted to surprise D'espairs Ray and Mucc and well after what I heard yesterday they will for sure.... more in my report later. There we met a nice guy from California who lives now in Japan, he had been a guest also.
What else, I am still running to the doctor due to my burning of snow and have to go the dentist, the dentist in Fukushima had been bad and his filling is almost broken again. I will get the money back from my insurance, hope they will be quick, it's very expensive. But my leg didn't look like a raw roast beef anymore, now it looks like a half raw hamburger ^^.
I have uploaded some new pictures, please take a look.
The day before yesterday we have returned to Tokyo and today I have my interview with my old work- keep your fingers crossed for me please.
I will write to you all soon and write a blog about all the last days, at the moment we are very busy. Yesterday had been the release of Redeemer and in the evening the signing with D'espairs Ray at Shinjuku, so we came home around nine in the evening and we are still very tired from moving and Inawashiro. Today we meet Koizumi san again and after the interview I have to go to the doctor again- my bad leg, I burnt it in the snow on Friday last week and now I have a very bad burn on my right leg and have to get antibiotic tapes around it and all the stuff- very expensive but I will get the money back from my insurance. Every time cost 4,200Yen because the antibiotic tape is very expensive.
Tomorrow we will go to Hello Work office and maybe on saturday to the Underneath or another band in the evening.
Love to you, can't wait to stay in contact with all you soon.
Also durchhalten angesagt ^^.
Da fehlten mir echt die Worte....wer will schon in Inawashiro bleiben?
